I am a UF faculty member. Less than five times a week. To use the online databases to find an article or other data. Also, to renew books It is a bit confusing to figure out the databases. Also, why is it not possible to go ahead and renew a book that is only a few days overdue (and over a long weekend holiday) to prevent fines from continuing to accrue? Isn't that being punitive rather than helpful- sort of a slap on the wrist- "If you can't renew the books on time then we are going to punish you"? Seems unnecessary and definitely unhelpful.
