General Education Task Force - Humanities
The Humanities General Education Task Force is charged to consider the feasibility, design, and method of delivery of a rigorous and intellectually honest humanities course that:
- would be required of all incoming students at the University of Florida,
- which would not be satisfied by any course taken prior to enrolling at UF,
- would not be satisfied by AP, CLEP, or IB credit, and
- which would count for three credit hours of the current distribution requirement for the humanities portion of the general education requirement.
The task force report is due at the end of the fall 2009 semester.
