Dr. Joseph Glover
Associate Provost for Academic Affairs
Dr. Joseph Glover joined the Provost's Office as Associate Provost for Academic Affairs in July, 2001. He joined the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor in 1982 and is currently Professor of Mathematics. He served as Chair of the Mathematics Department 1993-1998 and as Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences 1998 - 2001.
Dr. Glover's research interests lie in Markov Processes, martingales, potential theory, and related applications. His research has been funded by NSA, NSF, and AFOSR. Most recently, he organized the 1999 American Mathematical Society Southeastern U.S. Sectional Meeting and the 2001 national Seminar on Stochastic Processes, both in Gainesville. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Theoretical Probability.
