Dr. W. Andrew (Andy) McCollough
Associate Provost for IT, E-Learning and Distance Education
W. Andrew McCollough received an undergraduate degree in Industrial Management from the University of Florida in 1957. After serving several years as an Army aviator, he returned to the University of Florida and received a Ph.D. in Business and Economics in 1971. He has been a faculty member of the Warrington College of Business Administration since that time.
He served as Interim Associate Provost from January 2009 through June 2009. He served as Senior Associate Dean since 2003 and Associate Dean for 13 years in the Warrington College of Business Administration. Prior to that, he served as Chair of the Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate. He currently serves as Chair of several University committees including the General Education Committee.
His research interests have included financial markets and business ethics and he was formerly the Director of the Center for Business Ethics Education and Research. He has been designated "Teacher of the Year" or "Outstanding Teacher" several times at the College and University level and has served as Chair of the University's Graduate Teaching Awards Committee.
