  • Responsibilities: Review all human research projects conducted by the Health Science Center/Jacksonville personnel to assure:
    1. the rights and welfare of research participants are protected,
    2. the informed consent of subjects is appropriately obtained,
    3. the risks and potential benefits are carefully evaluated, and
    4. that proper experimental guidelines are followed.
