    1. the rights and welfare of research participants are protected,
    2. the informed consent of subjects is appropriately obtained, and
    3. the risks and potential benefits are carefully evaluated in accordance with the University of Florida's Multiple Project Assurance with the Office for the Protection of Research Risks.
