Modifying a program

- Courses or Programs fully web based, asynchronous
- Courses or Programs, largely web based, with periodic i.e., monthly, on-campus meetings.
- Courses or Programs, largely web based with periodic off campus “face” meetings for specific purposes, i.e., testing, labs, clinics, etc.

To facilitate review of such proposals, the Associate Provost for Information Technology and Distance Education (AP) has established a committee, Non-Traditional Learning Council (NTLC), to provide approval recommendations to the Provost.
This review process includes:
- Proposal developed by department faculty (DF).
- Approval by the Department Chair (DC) and College Dean (CD).
- Proposal sent to Associate Provost for review.
- Proposal presented to NTLC for review and recommendation.
- Proposal presented to SACS liaison (Assistant Provost) for SACS Substantive Change consideration.
- Proposal submitted to Provost with Associate Provost’s recommendation and SACS Liaison’s report.
- Upon Provost and SACS notification or approval (where required), the program/course can be implemented.
