University of Florida
Developing, Monitoring, Modifying, and Closing Academic Degree Programs
All academic programs at the University of Florida undergo a multi-level review and approval process in order to ensure academic rigor, articulation of goals for program excellence, accessibility and appeal to intended student audiences, and compliance with university and Board of Governors regulations related to academic programs.
Existing programs that undergo changes in their delivery system (such as making 50% or more of the credits available online) and/or introduction of a new delivery site require a separate review and approval process.
Programs will be reviewed periodically and closed when appropriate. This site contains information and forms related to developing, monitoring and closing academic degree programs.
