4. Resources for Funding
The Division of Sponsored Research (DSR) of Research and Graduate Programs provides faculty assistance in finding and applying for external sources of funding for their technology enhanced learning projects.
DSR facilitates institutional approval for all extramural proposal submissions, accepts and administers grant awards, and negotiates contracts and other research-related agreements on behalf of UF.
This past year, Research and Graduate Programs has been a partner in developing grants that have brought over $437.2 million for funding such projects to UF.
If you have a idea for a project using technology for education, please contact us. We will work with you to find potential funding sources and develop and submit a proposal.

Over the last two years, Research Awards by sponsor were broken down into categories:
- Federal - $268.1 Million (62%)
- State/Local - $51.6 Million (12%)
- Industry - $53.9 Million (12%)
- Foundations - $48.3 Million (11%)
- Other - 15.3 Million (3%)
