This discussion opened with key issues highlighted by a three member faculty panel. Dr. Brij M. Moudgil, Distinguished Professor and Alumni Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Director of the UF Particle Engineering Research Center; Dr. Laurie Gower, Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering; and Dr. Lou Guillett, Distinguished Professor of Zoology and former Associate Dean for Research, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences discussed challenges and opportunities for engaging interdisciplinary research and cross campus collaborations successfully.
