Faculty Achievement Recognition (FAR)
Welcome to the Faculty Achievement Recognition (FAR).
FAR is intended to be a biennial event through which the Provost's Office and Faculty Development recognize and showcase the high distinction of faculty here at the University of Florida, and spotlight those who contribute to UF's traditions of excellence.
FAR emphasizes professional and academic achievements that are usually not often acknowledged through conventional means. The FAR honorees have been recognized by their colleagues and selected by the deans for having made extraordinary contributions within their respective disciplines.
