During the last five years, Professor Pamela Soltis has published more than 30 papers in top-ranked journals, obtained more than $3.6 million of NSF support (UF portion only), advised scores of graduate students, and served as president of two national and international professional societies. In 2006, she received several prestigious awards: the Centennial Award from the Botanical Society of America; the Stebbins Medal for Outstanding Publication in Plant Systematics for her book, Angiosperm Phylogeny and Evolution (Sinauer Press), with co-authors D. E. Soltis, P. K. Endress, and M. W. Chase; and the Asa Gray Medal of the American Society of Plant Taxonomists (shared with her husband, Doug Soltis). In 2002, Soltis and her husband shared the R. Dahlgren International Prize in Botany from the Royal Physiographic Society of Lund, Sweden.
