Passport to Transfer - Travel Tip 6
ISIS
UF has developed the Integrated Student Information System, ISIS, at http://www.isis.ufl.edu.
ISIS can be used to:
- identify completed criteria and those requirements that still must be completed,
- search or degree shop for any UF major by college, major and/or subject area, obtaining an instant view of degree requirements. Once you are at UF (or ISIS has access to your CC records), you also can obtain an evaluation of how your course work (what you have already taken) satisfies those requirements
- help select a UF major
- register for your courses, drop, and check your financial aid status
If you wish to use the broader features of ISIS, back up to ISIS and
- Choose "Universal Tracking."
- Follow the on-screen instructions for "Guest" and "0000" sign-on.
- Search for a major by college, major or subject. When you find it, click on it.
- Choose "Degree Audit."
You will see the eight-semester plan of courses required for that degree. These courses include the criteria against which you will be judged to be on or off track. Critical tracking criteria are indicated at the top of the first page or they accompany each semester’s requirements. In most cases, the critical tracking courses required in particular semesters are indicated by >>>. GPA requirements also are listed because they can change from semester to semester.
If You Do Not Have Access to ISIS
If you do not have access to ISIS, you can refer to the UF Undergraduate Catalog where all course requirement information found in ISIS is available. You can get a catalog from your community college advisor, by ordering one from UF's bookstore or by going to http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/catalog.html The Undergraduate Catalog also contains the eight-semester plans and the critical tracking criteria for all UF majors.
