In collaboration with two other colleagues Dr. Crisalle created a four-day teaching workshop designed to introduce all junior faculty of the College of Engineering to the theory and practice of teaching engineering. The topics of the workshop include a critical review of alternative lecturing methods, techniques for designing meaningful tests and exams, and methods for assessing the effectiveness of a teaching effort. Dr. Crisalle has published extensively his results on the development of novel undergraduate laboratory experiments that can be accessed from remote locations using the Internet.
