  • Appointment: By President via nominations
  • Chair: Appointed by Provost - Faculty who are not Athletic Representatives
  • Responsibilities: A.) Recommend policy changes related to academic issues affecting or affected by intercollegiate athletics B.) Monitoring of admissions and academic progress of all student-athletes C.) Monitoring changes in NCAA rules and procedures, and reviewing with the UAA compliance officer the institution’s compliance program D.) Report to faculty on issues related to intercollegiate athletics via the University Senate at least twice a year E.) Make additional recommendations to the President on any other matters related to intercollegiate athletics
